Last week was national Administrative Assistants week, and I would like to pay tribute, today, to two of the finest ones I know.  This also happens to be the last week I will be working with Cheri Dundon,  (pictured on the right) my “partner in crime” for the last 4.5 years.  Cheri will retire on her birthday April 30.  We had lots of fun surprising her with the theme of Wonder Woman at her retirement party April 14. Cherri Glowe, pictured on the left, will be my new administrative assistant.  We are already cooking up new ways to have fun and work hard together.

I have learned so much from every administrative assistant who has worked with me over the years, often teaching me things essential not only to my job but to my becoming, I hope, a better human being.  I am in awe of the women and men who hold together the offices all over the country and especially thank all the administrative assistants of the Fetzer Institute.
