Five Google SB Memoir Ad Parodies–Which One is Best and Why?
It had to happen. Since the Google Super Bowl Ad was creative, popular, and infinitely repeatable, we had to start seeing parodies of it. But so soon?
Three days after the Super Bowl, five parodies, from light to dark in tone, have reached Mashable! You can watch them here! Google must be bursting with pride, since every parody is another form of advertising for Google–except perhaps the last one in the list.
Which ones are best? Why? Do any of them topple the original?

Let's make this a contest. I will select the best explanation of a choice, showing creative understanding of the original concept as well as attention to detail in the parody. Contest ends, appropriately, on Valentine's Day, 2010, at 5 p.m. One winner only. Winner will get to select a memoir from a list of three quality, recent, books.
These were fun, thanks! I especially enjoyed the way that they kept the cute music throughout, even though the stories were dissonant.
These were great, thanks! I thought it was interesting that they all used the same upbeat music. Although some of the stories were dark, you can almost be fooled by the music.
I think the parodists, if that's a word, must have all thought the upbeat music increased the irony. The clue to good parody is enough repetition to have recognition and enough difference to shock or amuse. Thanks for the comment!
Well, no one wanted to bite on the contest, so we will just enjoy the parodies and call it a day. Thanks for the comment, Chelsea!
